Sustainable & inclusive experiences

My personal take from this project
This idea came from our tech R&D studio: develop an app with facial recognition to help people with visual impairment to apply make-up.
Due to Covid lockdowns, we adapted our way to work to the context as well as how to interview and test solutions with VIP (Visually Impaired People). We conducted this study across Europe and USA with various levels of visual impairment, native or acquired and various ages.
Strong from user research learnings, I challenged the initial idea, raised awareness around make-up, accessibility and technology exclusion.
My take is a better understanding of VIP's struggle with makeup (and with digital products such as apps) and a greater learning of my responsibility for accessible design, both visual and tech.
My role in the project:
UX Researcher and Specialist
→ Desk research as first approach: gather insights and testimonials from internet, especially from YouTubers, key figures around visual impairment, as well as innovations in the tech for VIP and beauty space.
→ Qualitative research based on remote one-to-one interviews with a total of 12 visually impaired and blind participants across Europe and United States.
→ Collaborative design thinking with client, business and tech teams, to share research insights and user mindsets (behavioural personae-like)
→ Experience design recommendations supporting tech team defining MVP features, especially regarding risks in over-tech solutions leading to user-group exclusion, also helping considering lower tech solution more sustainable friendly.

Ghost Project Circular Fashion
at Accenture Song
My personal take from this project
In my own closet, I've always found struggling to balance style, budget, and sustainability. Over time I've tried various approaches, like renting clothes and accessories from shared closet service (Le Closet), selling and buying on second-hand stores or online websites (Vinted, Le Bon Coin), as well as sewing my own clothes and accessories.
In 2020, this ghost project was an opportunity for me to explore this topic of circular and sustainable fashion, free from client brief. It allowed me to learn about circular design and business opportunities in sustainable fashion.
As we near 2024 and brands becoming more mature, I look forward to working on circular and sustainable fashion services.
My role in the project:
Circular Experience Designer
→ Learning and sharing in-house on circular design with fashion as industry reference
→ Communicate around business opportunities for fashion brand accounts
→ Build a new offering through Sustainable fashion models and strategies
→ Created brand “upgraded” journeys applying circular and sustainable models on current business models
My personal take from this project
“J’EcoRénove mon logement” is an online platform that aims to provides with content and tools for end-to-end home’s improvement energy efficiency projects. Part of these tools were multiple simulation forms for individuals to identify work, estimate budget required and financing solutions.
My main focus as a UX designer during this project was to make sure that the matter of energy efficiency was presented in a simplified and easy to understand manner.
It went through simplified and well-sized flows, journeys and interface designs, but also through UX writing for which I strongly advocated.
Fun fact: during this project is that I was actually buying myself a house, and so home’s energy efficiency was concerns that I had at that time.
My role in the project:
UX Designer
→ Designing for all proposed journeys:
1. energy performance diagnosis and identify energy losses
2. work scenarios, taking into account the characteristics of the home and the customer’s financial situation
3. help by quickly identifying the financing options available from the national and local entities
4. help find banking products dedicated to energy renovation
5. help locate RGE certified professionals
→ Advocating for writing design to guide users and build trust around those banking services
→ Work closely with Visual designers to build the visual cue guidelines and design library to expand service to other brand branches
My personal take from this project
Settings from start were to create a service that would be a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) payment solution (La Banque Postale) combined with delivery service options (Colissimo) tailored for second-hand market (e-commerce BNPL landscape being already cluttered).
This project is to me a fine example of the value of design thinking and user research: indeed, since findings showed no relevant need “as-is” so I challenged the initial brief by proposing 4 service concepts that would create customer value around BNPL solution for C2C transactions. LBP launched this year one of the solution (“Django later”) and plan on developing at least another one.
My role in the project:
Service Designer
→ Desk and qualitative research: through a full immersion under the prism of second-hand use cases and trends, payment solutions benchmark with strong players, and needs for delivery options for C2C sales
→ Learning reports around second-hand market opportunities: brand and service positioning, add-on services such as delivery and payment options
→ Value proposition to guide service creation: defining the north star and key design drivers to guide the design thinking process
→ Service concept design: 4 strong service concepts to reinvent money exchange between individuals materialised by concept boards, flows and interface sketches.
More sustainable and inclusive projects
→ Service discovery for service potential on zero-emission generators for ENEDIS
→ Nudging platform design for the United Nations
→ Design sprint for new responsible loyalty program for Decathlon
